Story
In the beginning, Sub Space was composed of two friends Julien and Gonzague.
After several years together, making music, (releasing on their own label Mirage records, and others), playing live and djing under differents nicknames (XS,4IQ, Dj J&G), they sent a demo CD to Jeff Mills, Techno living legend.
Some times later they received a call from Jeff, who told them that he wanted 4 tracks for his new project label Mission 6277.
The objectif of the Mission 6277 was to discover if there was life on Mars, with several other artists coming from different countries.
For this mission Jeff asked them to take a special nickname, they chose Sub Space. (Subspace being a region, "one elsewhere" between two worlds, close to one another in the multiverse. go deep in the subspace allow to partly escape the physical laws prevailing in his initial universe and in particular to exceed the famous barrier of the light.")
Their mission was called First Step: "Sub Space explored a mysterious location beneath the planet's surface which had never been detected by previous missions 6277. With their expertise, they charted a course that should prove positive" www.axisrecords.com.
After that came their album "The Message", including the tracks released on the label Mission 6277 and the synthesis of the exclusive Live that they had written for the unique event "Contact Special" to mark the release of the same name of the album of Jeff Mills. The experience was imagined and designed by Mr Mills for the Womb club in Tokyo around a concept that only the maestro was able to create.
Then Julien decided to stop the adventure Sub Space.
Gonzag, decided to go on, and also brought new things to the universe of Sub Space.
He chose to open a new chapter....
